The Toronto Lords Teams

Lords basketball is elite basketball for teenage girls. A number of the girls attend Jarvis Collegiate, but others play for high school teams located all across Toronto. There are currently four teams – a Major Atom girl's team (ages 10-11), a Major Bantam girl's team (ages 12-13), a Midget girl's team (ages 14-15), a Junior Womens' team (ages 17-19).

The Toronto Lords Coaches

The coaches within the Toronto Lords organization come from a variety of avenues. All are volunteers, receiving no payment for their services and often spending a great deal of their own time and money to help run the organization. Coaches come from a variety of professions, including teachers, business professionals, and parents, all of whom are carefully screened and required to achieve NCCP Coaching Level 1 in order to be allowed to coach in our organization.

In addition to the parents involved directly in coaching, we have a number of parents who are involved in fundraising, organizing tournaments, driving players to games, and any other tasks the organization may need, all in a volunteer capacity.
